Latest Update 24.03.20 b

Due to the government’s announcement that all non-essential businesses must now close for the foreseeable future, we wanted to provide some information regarding returns.

Our standard returns policy is that you have 14 days from the day of delivery to return the item to us. In light of the current circumstances, we would strongly advise that those wishing to return unopened products do not do so until we notify you that our warehouse is open again. The reason for this is that as the warehouse is closed, any deliveries will likely return to the sorting office, where they will be returned to you as undelivered.

To ensure that we can still offer you the same returns process, we will be extending the returns period so that it excludes any time that the warehouse is shut. So for example, if you received an order with us on the 20th March, then you would have had your order for a total of 3 days before the warehouse closed on the 24th March due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Therefore, when our warehouse reopens, you would have 11 days in which to return the goods under our usual returns policy.

Unfortunately, until we receive further instruction from the UK government, we are unable to advise when the warehouse will reopen. However, we will keep you as informed as possible via this web page or by email – we encourage you to sign up using the form above.

Latest Update 24.03.20 a

Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, we feel the responsible thing to do to protect our customers and our staff is to close temporarily for the next three weeks or until the government advises otherwise.

We know this will disappoint many of you, but we feel continuing to offer our services, under the circumstances would be extremely irresponsible. We understand that for the majority of our customers, you will no longer be able to open your salons or service your mobile clients, and for this, we are truly sorry, and our thoughts are with all of you at this difficult time. We hope that you support us in this decision and return to us when we reopen again, as soon as it is safe to do so. In the meantime, you’re more than welcome to continue placing orders (they just won’t be shipped until we reopen) and explore our library of tutorials! Because when else are you going to have this amount of time to brush up on a new skill!

We hope that you continue to stay safe, stay home and stay hopeful.

Latest Update 19.03.20

Royal Mail have just announced the following;

“For items posted from Thursday 19 March 2020 onwards, we’ll no longer guarantee deliveries by 1pm the next working day. We’ll still prioritise Special Delivery parcels and letters and will aim to deliver by 1pm or before the end of day. Resource implications of the continuing advice regarding coronavirus means we may not be able to meet the customer promise of guaranteed next day delivery in all locations at all times. 

Our Special Delivery Guaranteed by 9am service remains unchanged; we still guarantee to deliver by 9am.”

In light of this announcement SimplyHair, have contacted Royal Mail and they have assured us that parcels should arrive next working day, but by the end of the day instead of the usual before 1pm service, and if not they will arrive within 1-2 working days.

If you need a guaranteed delivery service we advise that you choose ‘next working day by 9am’.

We’d like to reassure our customers that SimplyHair will continue to operate as normal and you can still expect to order from us without any interruptions. However, please note, that all orders must now be placed online, for more information on this, please continue reading.

We’d like to assure our customers that we are taking COVID-19 seriously and that our entire team are watching closely for developments. Currently we have had no instances of symptoms at SimplyHair, or from within any of our close partners such as our couriers at DHL and Royal Mail – but as a company and team, we are monitoring this very closely. Precautions

All of the SimplyHair team who are able, will now be working from home until further notice. The team who are absolutely essential to getting your orders out will remain but please rest assure that we have adequate hand washing facilities, hand sanitiser throughout our warehouse and are wearing gloves. We have also been implementing a 2 hour deep clean of the premises at the end of every working day. All staff remaining are aware of the symptoms of Covid-19 and the need to call 111 and act upon their advice, which could involve testing for the virus and of course self-isolation.

Your orders

Your orders will be packed and delivered as normal however all orders must now be placed online due to the lack of staff working from SimplyHair HQ, please keep a close eye on our this web page or your emails for any further changes/updates.

Supply chain

It is expected that our supply chain is going to be impacted, so in order to ensure we can meet demand we have ordered inflated volumes of all our supplies such as hair, tools and packaging.

Finally

We want to assure you that we are doing everything possible to look after our staff while ensuring we continue to offer you the service you have grown to expect; all in the face of an increased demand which nobody was prepared for. Our thoughts are with you and we look forward to supporting you and your business during this uncertain time.
